The British Beard Club is the First and Original social meeting group and members club for beard growers, their partners and families of our islands and overseas. We celebrate and support the growing, grooming and styling of beards and all facial hair, making new friends, enjoying good food, real ales and good conversation about all subjects. Our 527 members come from all walks of life.
The British Beard Club is a non-political, non-orientated Unincorporated Charitable Association of Beard Aficionados raising funds for charity, as well as giving support, friendship, and advice to anyone who wants to grow a beard, has just started to grow theirs, or who has been a long-time beard grower.

“I grew up in Yorkshire but legged it to London as soon as I could. Punk rock was the spur.
“Bearded since my early twenties. It was always my intention after meeting Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth on a trip to the States when I was 11 and, soon after, spending a great afternoon at Santa Pod Drag Strip with a Hell's Angel. Both had fulsome goatees.
“Attempting terminal right now but since I think a good, greasy quiff is the best haircut a man can sport the goatee will someday return. But never will my fully naked face ever again see the light of day.”
