“My interests include Scouting (I'm a Group Scout Leader with a local group), wild camping, bushcraft, wood whittling, knot tying, tattoos (I have a full sleeve and a growing collection across my back and chest) and all things associated with nature.

“I am also a Buddhist, currently studying to be ordained.

“I've sported varying amounts of facial hair since my early 20's and currently have a full beard.

“I've stopped trimming my chin so have an ever lengthening goatee, which I normally control by threading a bead or two onto it. This especially disturbs my eldest daughter, so I'm looking forward to adding ever more braids and decorations!

“My Scouting activities often cause my beard to go a variety of weird colours, particularly the white parts!”
